For once normal looking women graced the catwalk. Mark Fast's runway caused a quick a publicity stir recently because his models were actually a heterogeneous mix of both waifer thin and normal sized figures. It's a bit sad that such a scene should be considered so shocking, when it really should be absolutely ordinary that normal weight women would exhibit fashion designed for the vast majority of other normal weight women. Hopefully, other designers will follow suit and use normal looking women on the runway often enough that our society won't be shocked by the public presence of a normal weight woman. I emphasize NORMAL here because these women are not plus sized or "curvy" in any means. They're just average people, people. It shouldn't so shocking. The real weird looking girls are unhealthy, anorexic ones.
